In Miami-Dade County, hospital rooms are filling with coronavirus patients, although officials there noted there is still space for future patients. Jackson once again stopped elective surgeries in order to have more capacity and staffing to care for COVID patients.

The University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL) is allowing students to take courses online. As COVId-19 infection explodes here in Miami-Dade County, which is closing down more and more activities and limiting business activity especially indoors, the University of Miami is caught in a health trap, lead by an internationally known public health expert who is their president.
