Evidence is that the testing is rather low and the % infection is high. UM should do more random tests.
UM students are walking around Coral Gables in public with their masks in hand. They put on the masks when they step on the campus. This is better than nothing, but this is not a serious following of city, community and UM guidance and rules.

With the State of Fl and the Mayor of Miami-Dade opening back up, allowing 13,000 crowds at football games, casinos are opening and the bystanders commenting that everything is great now, there is real danger that most of the fall in deaths and infections is almost over.
Clearly, politicians do not care enough about the number of deaths and infections except those that are so bad that people will not tolerate it.
Politicians are racing to the date of their elections hoping that the declines will continue. Don’t believe them.
PS: The President of the University of Miami wisely has forebidden students to attend the first two home games, and prohibited alcohol at the home games.

See their COVID dashboard (https://coronavirus.miami.edu/dashboard/) to get the latest information. This seem quite large and calls into question the school trying to open depending so much on student discipline.
